Conceived within the NICCHRIS ORIGIN studio, the Buddy Sideboard explores the harmonious discipline of mid-century Scandinavian cabinetmaking. By rejecting applied metal hardware and carving subtle recessed finger pulls directly into the timber, Buddy maintains an uninterrupted dialogue of living wood grain. Handcrafted from selected wood, its proportions celebrate structural permanence, tactile warmth, and spatial stillness.

Sculpted Recessed Pulls

Artisanal carved handles integrated into door and drawer faces, offering an intuitive tactile grip while highlighting unbroken cathedral wood grain flow.

Artisanal Board Selection

Timber planks are individually grain-matched and finished with natural low-sheen sealants, preserving the breathability and living texture of authentic hardwood.
